REI Construction Services, Inc. was contracted to manage this building envelope waterproofing project for a multi-use office and warehouse facility. Previous reports of water intrusion into the building interior and a subsequent investigation revealed failed or deficient through wall flashings at grade level, window sill pan and lintel flashings and window perimeter flashings. The existing CMU blocking was removed at grade level and at the window lintels to allow new through wall flashings to be installed.

The existing windows were removed and replaced with upgraded window components. New window flashing details were also installed. Exterior wall control joint sealants were replaced and several areas of tuck pointing performed. Since the project completion in the first quarter of 2015, no issues concerning interior water intrusion have been reported. The project was completed on schedule and did not exceed the budgeted amount. Zero injuries or accidents occurred during the project duration.
